In accordance with the Decree of Directorate General of Forest Protection and Nature Conservation Number: SK 99/IV/Set-3/2005 September 26, 2005 on the Settlement Zone at Mount Rinjani National Park. So to the interests of management as a National Park in Indonesia,
Mount Rinjani National Park area is divided into several management zones, namely:- Core zone: 20843.50 ha
- Jungle zone: 17349.50 ha
- Use zone: 799.00 Ha
- Intensive use zone: 390.00 Ha
- Special use zone: 401.00 Ha
- Cultural special use zone: 75.00 Ha
- Special use zone tourism: 326.00 Ha
- Other zones: 2388.00 Ha
- a. Traditional use zone: 583.00 Ha
- b. Rehabilitation zone: 1775.00 Ha
- Total: 41330.00 Ha
