Mount Rinjani National Park, is one part of the tropical rain forest located in West Nusa Tenggara region consisting of various types of ecosystems and vegetation are fairly complete from Lowland Tropical Forest (Semi Evergreen) until the Tropical Rain Forest Mountains (1,500 - 2,000 m above sea level) is still intact and the shape of primary forest, pine forest and sub alpine vegetation (> 2,000 m asl). Potential area that can be exploited for the sake of development of science, education, research and natural attractions.
