OTAK KOKOK GADING (JOBEN)

Otak Kokok is an area with beautiful natural scenery and cool. The location is at the Resort Joben, National Park Management Section Area II East Lombok. Here there is a waterfall which is believed to heal the community about various kinds of diseases by bathing in Otak Kokok waterfalls.
The myth that exists is if the shower under the waterfall and the otak kokok is affected by the spray of water turned into a white body (such as rice washing water), indicating that the guests are being sick. Conversely, if the water spray is actually clear like normal water generally indicates the disease is gone or does not have the disease.
In the vicinity of the waterfall is also built tourist facilities such as swimming pool and gazebo / resting place. In addition, there is also a meeting hall and tent-shop that provides various kinds of snacks and some foods of the island of Lombok.
At this location there are also garden collection developed by the National Park of Mount Rinjani. Culture is Orchid plant, which currently there are more than 400 specimens of orchids, of the 60 species present. Some of them are endemic to the island of Lombok orchids such as Dendrobium sp., Bumbophillum sp., Trypermum sp., Etc.
